DAY 1 Travel from the US to Israel.

Day 2

After arriving at the beautiful Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, we will load our luxurious motor coach and make our way to our first destination- Caesarea Martima.  This special place is referred to several times in the New Testament and is extremely important to Gentile Christianity and the beginnings of world missions.

We will end the day at the baptismal site on the Jordan River (Baptism is optional but is an incredible once in a lifetime experience.  Robes and towels are available through the Yardenit baptismal site).

Day 4

We will head north to visit Tel Dan where Jeroboam built a pagan altar during Old Testament times.

We will walk through the beautiful nature reserve and see the origination point of the Jordan River from the base of snow-capped Mt. Hermon.  We will also go to the ruins of Caesarea Philippi where Peter declared Jesus to be the Jewish Messiah.

After lunch we will visit the 1973 Yom Kippur War battlefield called the Valley of Tears.

If time allows we will visit the breathtaking view from Ben Tal, a former Israeli military lookout post.

We will make our way back to the Sea of Galilee and our hotel for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 5

We will say goodbye to the Sea of Galilee area and head south making stops at the Spring of Harod and the story of Gideon.

We will travel from there to Beth Shan, the site of Saul and his son’s demise at the hands of the Philistines. Beth Shan features incredible Roman ruins with a theater, cardo, and shops. You will want your camera ready for this stop.

From Beth Shan we will travel to Jericho for a quick tour of the city.

If time allows we will also make a stop at the biblical site of Jesus baptism at Beth Abara.

After a great day of travel, we will make our climb up to Jerusalem and end the day at Mt. Scopus and the beautiful view of the Old City of Jerusalem.

From there we will check in to our Jerusalem hotel for dinner and a good night’s rest.

Day 6

We will have lunch at Qumran and visit the site of the discovery of the Dead Sea scrolls.

From Qumran we will visit the oasis of Ein Gedi where David cut off the robe of King Saul and where the enemy multitudes gathered to come against King Jehoshaphat of Judah.

On our way back to Jerusalem we will stop to float in the Dead Sea.

After our swim, we will return to our hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 7

We will begin the day on the Mt. of Olives overlooking the Temple Mount and take a group picture.

We will descend the Mt. of Olives down the Palm Sunday path and enter the private Garden of Gethsemane for a time of worship and prayer.
